We recently had installed new 3cm Granite counter tops and wanted only a single penetrating hole to maximize the gorgeous view of the new countertops. We looked at all of the other major brand, single handle, integrated sprayer kitchen faucets on the market, but couldn't find Any that we liked. All were either too bulky, too shiny, large handled, tulip shaped bases with awkward pull out sprayers that didn't feel right or seem to work very well.
Then we discovered the Kohler K-596-VS, an ergonomic all-in-one faucet of beauty that takes Absolutely Nothing away from our stunning granite real-estate from Brazil, but adds a simplistic yet elegant compliment to our remodeled kitchen. The 10 minute installation plus the solid quality and function of its design only enhances the great choice we made. The spray\stream\stop features and ease of the swivel head work flawlessly, as does the diminutive but accurate function of the valve assembly. The brushed Vibrant Stainless finish cleans very easily and matches perfectly with our stainless appliances throughout the kitchen. All of this with a Lifetime Warranty!!

I replaced a poorly-functioning Delta with this faucet. Installation was straightforward and required no special tools (other than a crescent wrench and long-shafted phillips screwdriver to install). The faucet looks beautiful and functions smoothly.
Installation tips: (a) If installing in a three-hole sink, use plumber's putty to hold the baseplate down. (b) Water leaked (copiously) from the control buttons on the spray head, which at first I thought was a defect in the head. I called Kohler and they shipped a replacement to me right away, no problem. Later, I unscrewed the spray head and wrapped the male connection to the spray head with teflon tape and that took care of the leak. (c) There is a rubber washer included with the faucet, but no mention of it in the installation instructions. The parts guide at the back of the instructions booklet shows that it fits underneath the base of the faucet. Slide that washer onto the bottom of the faucet before you guide it into the installation hole.

I purchased this faucet for our kitchen sink and it is absolutely beautiful. The Vibrant Stainless finish goes great with our stainless refridgerator and stove. It operates well and is perfect for rinsing out large cooking pots and other cookware. It is also very stylish and looks great with our sink. My husband installed the system in less than 30 minutes so he is a fan. I purchased it while it was on sale so we both feel we got a great deal on a great item.

This faucet is awesome! Every time I use it, it puts a smile on my face... and I've had it for a couple of months now. I can turn it on and off with my pinky finger. The pull down head is amazing. The head rotates 360 independently from the hose, so there is never any twisting of the hose. The sprayer function works great to rinse off soapy dishes. The pause function is a nice feature, although I don't use it every day. I mostly use the steady stream. My only regret is that I bought this faucet at Lowes and paid close to $300. Next time, I'll be sure to check the price on Amazon before I buy it somewhere else.
