 Perhaps my favorite showerhead for the money August 15, 2007

Simply put, this is one of the best showerheads I've ever used and it was happened upon by sheer chance. I live on the coast with an outside shower for leaving the beach, typical of many beach cottages. The shower had been nice, but the various heads that had cycled through were mediocre at best, on par with the typical economy fare. Still, there is something great about an outdoor shower, given one to overlook the slight deficiencies. One day, when turning on the water, the difference in the water pressure and spray felt as if someone had opened the flood gates. Indeed, it was the thickest, meatiest, most refreshing stream of water I had experienced, more akin to a natural waterfall! I know this reads over-the-top, but the shower head moved me to actually seek out the owner who installed this on his own, just to thank him for the near total transformation. Yes, it made that big a difference. I cant recommend this shower head more highly, especially if you are looking for a more robust spray with a thicker, more powerful stream. The spray is easily adjustable via the turnkey on the side, changing from more refined output to a virtual deluge that's extremely refreshing. This Speakman Anystream just kills the typical economy shower heads you find in most places. I've only tried the 6 jet version. There is a cheaper 4 jet model but if having to choose, I would probably splurge for the 6 jet, despite the added expense (there is an 8 jet model that is significantly higher in price). Highly Recommended and it appears very well-made. Makes taking a shower a joy. Suffice to say, I ordered one for my in-home shower not long after.

THIS SHOWER HEAD IS A TOP OF THE LINE HEAD,I REMOVED WATER SAVER FOR CUST. THAT WANTED A FULL SHOWER LIKE OLD DAYS(THEY ARE ON A WELL IN ROCKY MT.COLORADO)IF YOU LIKE A STRONG SHOWER THIS IS FOR YOU.......

Nice shower head. Didn't get any "splatter" as others have said. Took the watersaver out. I really like the full-on setting. With my home having good pressure to start with- it's refreshing. Don't see how the more expensive models would be any better, they all appear to use the same nozzles. Great service as usual from Grady's.

This is the second one of these I've purchased. The last one went for about ten years before our lousy local water finally did it in. Since then, I've installed a whole house filter, so maybe this new one will last longer. I really appreciate the smoothness of its operation and the quality of its construction. Highly recommended.
