 Excellent choice for low pressure November 22, 2009

Our well pump produces low pressure, was looking for a new handheld shower, would be satisfied with decent plain shower pressure, massage functions of most simply don't work here. Unpack item, first good thing: solid brass insert in arm that screws to shower pipe, not plastic to metal. Second: ignore review that says angle of the bracket is not adjustable, it is by loosening plastic collar at other end (it's a typical ball in socket design). Third: unit's handle is smaller but I find that an advantage.
Most important: review is based on removal of the flow restrictor. This is easy to do: It's the green plug with a black rubber ring you can see inside the end of the actual spray head. It is just a press fit, if you cannot pull it straight out with needle nose pliers, punch a hole in it so you get a better grip...it will pull out.
Even with low pressure the massage functions work well here. Two minor annoyances: the trickle position is still a mild shower and the spray select has no markings or detents, you have to feel your way to each position.

FIVE STAR hand-held shower head has NO COMPETITION! After trying more than 20 models over the years, this one is the KING. Soft, gentle, relaxing volumous spray, and the MOST INVIGORATING MASSAGE setting of any model on the market. SORE MUSCLES BEWARE; you haven't a chance after therapy with this HAND HELD WONDER. If you dye your hair, this is the most efficient and quickest way to remove the residue. Thick hair rinses completely in seconds! I will never purchase another brand or model, NONE COMPARE with this one!!!

This is the third one of these that I bought. The first I put in my house, the second in my moms house when I had a house fire and mine was damaged(when I went to move back into my house my mother wouldn't let me taker it with me so I left it for her and bought a third). It is very usefull in that it is small and lightweight for a handheld, plus it conforms to your hand.

We bought one recently, liked it so much, we're buying another. Like the small compact design. When using hands free in the shower arm mount, it doesn't sit too high like other brands, and the mount is adjustable for directing the spray where you want it. Great water pressure.

ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT DISTRIBUTED BY AMAZON. I INSTALLED IT IN LESS THAN A MINUTE. CHECKED FOR LEAKS, NONE. WENT TO FILE THE WARRANTY AND LOOKED AT THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. CRACKED ME UP, IT STARTS WITH: REMOVE OLD SHOWERHEAD. I COULD JUST SEE SOMEBODY STANDING THERE WITH THE NEW ONE AND LOOKING AT THE OLD ONE AND WONDERING WHAT TO DO NEXT. NEXT MORNING I TRIED ALL THE SETTINGS AND FOUND THE MASSAGE SETTING GREAT. AFTER A WHILE I FELT SOME COLD DROPS ON MY BACK (I SIT ON A HOSPITAL BENCH) CHECKED FOR LEAKS, NONE. LOOKED UP AT THE CEILING AND SAW IT WAS COVERED WITH DROPS. SO I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT WATER PRESSURE. NOW I JUST OPEN THE FAUCETS A LITTLE BIT. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT LAUGH AND PRICED RIGHT.
